IIGR conducts three main types of research: government-sponsored research; collaborative studies with universities and private companies; and our own (IIGR) in-house research. Our primary focus is on the practical aspects of emergency management…what works well, what does not work so well, and how can things be improved. In conducting our research, we draw upon and analyze a wide range of source materials to provide reports that are clear and accurate, and that have practical application to emergency management.
